As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. You drive significant business impact and help shape the target state architecture through your capabilities in multiple architecture domains.
Job responsibilities

• Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
• Provides feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
• Guides evaluation of current technology and leads evaluation of new technologies using existing standards and frameworks
• Regularly provides technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
• Drives decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serves as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more areas of focus
• Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Influences peers and project decision-makers to consider the use and application of leading-edge technologies
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on product solution architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• Proven experience in product solution architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable and innovative solutions that meet business needs.
• Engineering experience with major projects, including .Net/Java, AWS, Database, Security, large-scale projects, big systems, trade hours, application development, and communications.
• Hands-on experience in delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, applications, and architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes, with expertise in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
• Ability to independently tackle design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight.
• Practical experience with cloud-native technologies.
• Capability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to recommend optimal solutions for future state architecture.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Experience as an application developer or architect, with a focus on product solution architecture.
