ISS STOXX is growing! We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our team in Mumbai, India.
Overview:
As a Senior Full Stack Developer at ISS STOXX, you will play a critical role in architecting, developing, and optimizing our software applications. You will work on both front-end and back-end components, driving the development process and ensuring seamless integration between them. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Java, SQL, and Angular, as well as experience in technical leadership, mentorship, and a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and efficient software solutions using Java for back-end development.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and refine requirements, providing technical insight and guidance.

Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL databases, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

Architect, develop, and maintain front-end components using Angular or React, delivering responsive and user-centric experiences.

Ensure seamless communication and functionality by integrating front-end and back-end components effectively.

Conduct and oversee thorough testing of applications, driving defect identification, resolution, and performance enhancements.

Participate in and lead code reviews, enforcing high standards of code quality, security, and best practices.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing innovative ideas and best practices to the team.

Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative learning environment and knowledge-sharing culture.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues promptly, ensuring robust and reliable applications.

Continuously evaluate and improve development processes and methodologies, driving efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3 to 6 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a proven record of technical leadership.

Strong proficiency in Java, with expertise in back-end architecture and development.

Experience in Micronaut/Springboot

Experience in SQL database design, optimization, and maintenance.

Experience with front-end development using React / Angular / UI is preferred.

In-depth understanding of web development principles, security, and best practices.

Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and collaborative development workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence technical decisions.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
