About the role:We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our technology team focused on advancing mobile
ordering solutions for the hospitality industry. The candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and
maintaining high-traffic web applications using modern PHP (7-8), TypeScript, and React. The role involves both
backend and frontend development, technical decision-making, and leadership in setting development standards.
Responsibilities:
• Take an integral role within a small, autonomous team with decision-making authority.
• Participate in the technical design of system changes and new features.
• Propose new technologies and process improvements.
• Work independently and collaboratively as required.
• Mentor team members; be open to teaching and learning.
• Lead the development of new features.
• Establish and uphold backend development standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with PHP, including modern practices and Object-Oriented
• Design.
• At least 3 years of experience with TypeScript and React (or similar frameworks).
• Minimum 5 years of experience building and maintaining high-traffic web applications.
• Proficient in writing clean, testable code following best programming principles.
• Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Managers on feature refinement and time estimation.
• Strong initiative and ability to deliver projects independently.
• Experience creating HTTP API integrations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
• DevOps experience with popular cloud hosting providers.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Python, Node.js.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and GraphQL.
