We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead 2 teams of highly skilled software engineers working within the Accounting product areas.

Accounting is a unit within SimCorp’s Product Division, which forms the backbone of our flagship product SimCorp One. It delivers rules and calculation methods to provide our clients with legally binding subledger for all supported financial asset classes.

The product areas consist of 8 teams (4-8 software engineers in each team) spread across multiple geographical locations. We are now seeking an Engineering Manager for 2 additional teams in Hyderabad.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Leading 2 teams of Software Engineers within the Accounting Product Areas, with responsibility for staffing and team development.
Working closely with Product Management to understand and refine the customer outcomes that you and your teams are responsible for delivering.
Leading the day-to-day work of the scrum teams and having responsibility for both the short-term business deliverables and the long-term improvements.
Collaborating with other engineering leaders on improvements within the product areas in Accounting and beyond, such as product quality, security, delivery, system performance, etc...
Providing input to the strategic direction of the product areas.
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be a part of a team of 5 Engineering Managers and report to the Director of Engineering.
WHAT WE VALUE
You are an engineer at heart, with professional software development experience.
You have 5-8 years' experience leading software engineers.
You take pride in delivering sound software solutions to clients.
You have a good understanding of core engineering practices such as testing methodologies, coding, CI/CD, AI, security and architecture, and you can comprehend the work your teams do on a daily basis.
You build a collaborative and open culture.
You work effectively across a large, international organisation and at various levels.
NICE TO HAVE
You have worked in an Azure or any other cloud environment.
You have worked within the Capital Markets domain.
