Senior Engineer, TD Advanced Modeling

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and validate computational models for the process, structure, and multi-physics analysis with FEM and CFD tools (e.g., Abaqus, ANSYS Fluent, COMSOL, Star-CCM).
• Conduct simulations and analyze results to optimize designs and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Ability to comprehend statistical process analysis and control systems.
• Utilize data analysis and machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and troubleshoot engineering issues.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate analysis results and recommendations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in FEA, CFD, numerical methods, computational geometry, and machine learning.

Qualifications:

• Master's or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in computational modeling.
• Experience with numerical methods, scientific computing and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB, FORTRAN, C++).
• Experience with data analysis tools and machine learning frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, etc.).
• Familiar with FEA, FVM, PFM, HPEM, methods and implementations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with HPC on Linux environment
• Experience with computational geometry and mesh generation techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of multi-physics simulations and advanced material models.
• Strong background in computational fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, physics, chemistry, and statistical/data analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
