Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with PO and design/develop Restful Services, product configuration, data analysis, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
• Provide technical expertise in the Retail Wireless area.
• Understand business needs and product offerings to design and build solutions for the retail wireless core team.
• Analyze business and technical requirements
• Successfully handle the daily challenges of the technical environment and resolve the technical issues
• Perform code review
• Implement CI/CD pipelines
• Handle release deployments and production issues

Skills, Experience and Requirements

• Engineering degree with 4 to 8 years of experience in application development using Java/ J2EE technologies.
• Strong in Java, Spring/ Spring Boot, Linux
• Experience in designing and developing REST based services / MicroService development
• Exposure to AWS( Step Functions, Lambda, SQS, API gateway), CI/CD, DevOps
• Experience using container management tools such as Kubernetes and Docker is preferred
• Strong knowledge on databases like Mongo Db, PostgreSQL and CouchBase.
• Strong knowledge in messaging systems like Kafka.
• Experience with delivering projects in an agile environment using SCRUM/XP methodologies.
• Candidate should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to work independently without much guidance
• Exposure on swagger API design and implementation
• Exposure on REST API Tools like Postman, Soapui and Ready API.
• Exposure on Artifactory repository tools like JFrog and Nexus.
• Exposure to vulnerability scan tools like Snyk, SonarQube.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Candidate should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to work independently without much guidance
• Exposure to Telecom OSS or BSS will be an added advantage.
