As a leader for Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and SRE in the Global Data Platforms Engineering team you will join a team of brilliant, friendly and energetic cloud/big data solutions architects, data engineers, data architect, QA engineers and project managers who strive to deliver best of breed solutions to our customers.

Key Requirements
- Should have at least 15+ years of extensive experience in IT infrastructure, Public/Private cloud, DevOps, SRE, Application Solution architecture, Big Data, and building large scale enterprise grade platforms in public cloud.
- Must have experience in architecting production-level workloads, including end-to-end pipeline load performance testing and optimization on the cloud based big data platforms.
- Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in architecting large-scale applications on AWS or Azure public cloud environments.
- Must have hands on experience with clustering software like Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Ansible, Mesos
- Experience with continuous delivery and deployment pipelines
- Experience working with OpenStack, Linux/UNIX, Rackspace, Docker and AWS EKS
- Should be willing to take up the role of DevOps SME, who will advise various BU/IT teams on architectural, design, performance tuning, cost efficiencies, and operations related issues.
- Will be responsible for developing overall DevOps strategy, technical design, and other technical documentation to support various IT initiatives.
- Be a trusted advisor, and internal SME who will help BU teams with review of architecture patterns and suggest cost effective models.
- Must have experience in setting up security architectures including firewalls, encryption, masking, KMS, IAM, MFA, network (VPC’s/VNET’s), compliance (SOX/HIPPA/PII), data protection, Infra automation, BCP/DR, SIEM, audit controls, CMP, and other related items.
- Work closely with application/operations teams to actively identify & resolve performance issues throughout public cloud landscape.
- Design, write, and maintain software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of applications, incorporating third party open-source tools when available.
- Own, maintain, and continuously improve all systems provided as a service, such as monitoring and datastores
- Experience with SOA Application, Distributed Architecture and Cloud-Base Services
- Knowledge and understanding in emerging technologies of cloud, distributed computing and big data
- Certification as an Azure Solutions Architect, GCP Solution Architect, Cloud Security Certification, and/or OpenStack Administrator Certification a plus
- Should have prior experience in developing work effort estimates, project plans, budget estimates, and roadmaps.
- End to end lifecycle implementation experience building large enterprise scale applications using AWS/Azure cloud services is highly desired.
Build a Cloud & Big Data team responsible for:
- Supporting AWS cloud deployments related to Data & Analytics platform engineering team
- Build, roll out, and operate new PaaS or IaaS services in AWS (ex: roll out Kafka as a Service, Airflow, EKS, etc.,)
- Support AWS infra related to Data Supply Chain - Terraform/Salt
- Install, maintain, support – Enterprise tools (ex: Informatica, StreamSets, etc.,) on AWS
- Be responsible for deploying new tools in AWS
- Maintain, enhance, and support AWS EMR, AWS Spark/Kafka clusters, and related AWS PaaS components
- Maintain, enhance, and support Databricks environments
- Maintain, enhance, and support Snowflake
- Maintain, and manage reddis, elastic search, solr, and other search engines
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to build and deploy custom solutions in AWS.
Team Management
- Experience developing and managing a team of engineers
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Experience of minimum of 5+ years leading a global Cloud Engineering, & DevOps support team
- Experience of managing in a highly intensive and time-sensitive geographically dispersed product support organization
- Experience with complex system performance data analysis, system troubleshooting and applied technical problem-solving skills to effectively manage operations.
- Proven experience managing escalated accounts and driving incident, problem, and escalation management to successful resolutions
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and a preparedness to take on what is necessary to get things done
- Proven work experience overseeing all aspects of the technical support management including staffing, shift operations, products, technology etc.,
- Expertise in developing/enhancing the key support metrics to measure the effectiveness of the team members, processes, operations with the goal of achieving higher employee satisfaction and customer CSAT/NPS scores.
- Experience in working productively with cross functional teams and creating/leading cross-functional programs to bring about greater operational efficiency.

- Good communication/presentation and influencing skills are a MUST as there is heavy interaction with various executive stakeholders.

- Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple locations when necessary
