Role Overview

We are seeking Senior Data Engineers to join our Hyderabad team. These positions require strong technical expertise in Microsoft Data Services and related technologies to support our client engagements. The role involves working closely with the tech lead and broader teams to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Azure Synapse and Fabric
• Write efficient, scalable SQL queries and scripts to support data integration and analytics requirements
• Develop and implement Python scripts for data processing and automation tasks
• Collaborate with tech leads and architects on data warehousing and data modelling tasks
• Support data platform managed services and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in collaboration with onshore and offshore teams
• Ensure adherence to best practices in data security, governance, and quality
• Provide regular status updates and documentation for client and internal stakeholders

Skills and Experience Required

• 6+ years of experience as a data engineer
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and query optimization
• Solid experience with Python scripting in data engineering contexts
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling (advantageous, but can be supported by tech leads)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
• Strong communication skills and client-facing mindset
