About the Team & Business Line:
The Business Intelligence and Analytics team is an central reference point within Citco Bank and it is the engine that drives the data culture and a data driven approach around all reporting, insights, analytics and business growth initiatives.
Taking part in the delivery process for BI Dashboards, Regulatory Reports and any other ad-hoc request
Making sure the solutions are tailored to the needs and following the general data principles
Covering requirements from all data areas and purposes: business, regulatory, risk, process performance, data quality, data governance
Ensure Data Warehouse enrichment with needed data points based on requirements. Contribute to the data model design and documentation
Ensure Data Governance Principles are met and standards are respected
Play a consultant role whenever data is involved and come up with out of the box solutions.
Ensure proper documentation and process standards are fulfilled
Support the data literacy progress across the business counterparties
Must have an academic background and working level;
Ability to problem solve data requirements, working through request in a clear and methodical way;
Proven analytical skills, to assist the business on reviewing and presenting the data in a clear and professional manner; ease in finding the right solution and play a consultant role
Experience in QLIK, Power BI , Python, R or equivalent BI and data analytics tools
Data mining skills and ease in working with data in different formats: Excel, SQL, Access, etc.
Ability to communicate to various levels of the business in a clear and effective manner; Good presentation skills – both verbal and written.
Ability to zoom in and out depending on the counterparty – IT, Business people, Data savvy persons.
Preferred experience in financial service industry, consultancy or aligned function;
Strong quantitative skills;
Research and analytical skills;
Good project management skills and being able to structure and organize and plan the activity and deadlines both for himself and the team
Very good people skills
Strong communicative and interpersonal skills (in English);
Ability to work independently and to liaise with other departments;
Masters degree in data analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics would be an asset.
