Primary Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Power BI Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain high-scale semantic data models (Star schemas) using Import, DirectQuery, and DirectLake modes. Implement enterprise-grade row-level security (RLS) and object-level security (OLS)
• Generative AI & Copilot Orchestration: Master the use of Microsoft Copilot within Power BI and Fabric to accelerate DAX generation, automate report layouts, and build conversational Q&A data exploration dashboards for end-users
• Advanced DAX & Power Query (M): Write highly efficient, complex DAX measures and calculated tables tuned with DAX Studio and Tabular Editor. Build advanced M queries for resilient data ingestion and parameterization
• Predictive Modelling via Scripting: Embed custom Python and R scripts within the Power Query ETL pipeline or as dynamic report visuals to enable ad-hoc clustering, forecasting, and classification models
• Microsoft Fabric Ecosystem Management: Collaborate with data engineering to leverage Microsoft Fabric workspaces, utilizing Snowflake or Databricks to pull machine learning model outputs directly into Power BI reports
• AI Visuals & Cognitive Integration: Deploy and optimize native Power BI AI tools, including Key Influencers, Decomposition Trees, Smart Narratives, and automated Anomaly Detection. Integrate Azure Cognitive Services (e.g., sentiment analysis, text analytics, image tagging) seamlessly into the Power Query layer
• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience: 6.5+ years of dedicated professional experience as a Power BI Developer/Analyst, with 2+ years integrating advanced analytics, machine learning outputs, or AI workflows into dashboards
• Experience in building SSRS reports
• Advanced SQL transformations: Proficiency in creating data transformations and aggregations using SQL. Proficiency in writing advanced SQL queries (CTEs and Window Functions). Experience in writing SQL based views and procedures. In depth understanding and expertise of Relational cloud data warehouse preferably Snowflake
• Communication Mastery: Proven exceptional capability to explain complex predictive probabilities, data structures, and algorithmic outputs to non-technical business partners

Core Technical Skill Set

• Core Business Intelligence & Performance Tuning
  • Power BI Stack: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Premium capacities, Gateway architecture, Deployment Pipelines
  • Data Modelling: Master-level understanding of dimensional modelling, fact/dimension tables, handling slowly changing dimensions (SCDs), and solving granular calculation challenges
  • Optimization: solid hands-on usage of DAX Studio, and Performance Analyzer to eliminate visual bottlenecks and reduce dataset sizes
• AI Integration & Advanced Programming
  • Intermediate-to-advanced Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Seaborn) or R for executing predictive workloads inside Power BI
• Data Warehousing & SQL
  • Advanced SQL: Expert-level query formulation, indexing strategies, CTEs, and window functions to prep data before it hits the Power BI ingestion layer
