About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Analytics Consultant.

In this role, you will:

  • Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
  • Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
  • Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
  • Lead or participate on large cross group projects
  • Mentor less experienced staff
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

    Required Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Hands-on experience in reporting and data analysis.
    • Performing quality check/analysis on BI products.
    • Writing advance SQL and stored procedure or similar experience
    • Oracle, SQL Server or similar database experience
    • Advance Tableau, Power BI experience
    • Extensive knowledge and understanding of data research and analysis
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to draw conclusions and translate findings from data.
    • Tableau certification
    • Automation of process using PowerShell / VBA
    • Experience in HR domain using Workday
    • ETL Tools: Alteryx/SSIS
    • Power BI, Python/R, data mining, machine learning
    • Financial experience
    • Good team player

    • Perform analysis of findings and trends using data analysis and document process
    • Present recommendations to reduce expense, develop and maximize operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
    • Identify and define business requirements and translate data and business needs into research and recommendations to improve efficiency.
    • Participate in all group technology efforts including design and implementation of analytics software and processing.
    • Develop Dashboards and ad-hoc Analysis Reports, QA customized reports to make recommendations and provide guidance and Data Insights to HR decision-makers
    • Understand compliance and risk management requirements for supported area.
    • Ensure adherence to data management or data governance regulations and policies.
    • Participate in company initiatives or processes to assist in meeting risk and capital objectives and other strategic goals.
    • Collaborate and consult effectively with HR consultants, technology partners, and other cross functional business stakeholders.
    • Working Hours: 1:30PM-10:30PM IST
