Marsh is seeking a talented individual to join our O2C team. This role will be based in Mumbai and will operate in a hybrid model, requiring at least three days per week in the office.

We will count on you to:
- Validate all required information in the request form.
- Verify banking details accurately in Newton.
- Initiate payments based on the information provided in Newton using the relevant bank portals.
- Make changes in RMB as per the request form.
- Add and maintain line codes in the Forms Excel file.
- Initiate tax payments as instructed in the tax log.
- Review requests and documents for completeness and accuracy before processing.
- Complete assigned work within agreed SLAs.
- Escalate discrepancies, exceptions, and unresolved issues to the Team Lead promptly.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for all transactions.
- Adhere to internal controls, SOX compliance requirements, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and support implementation of control enhancements.
- Perform research upon request of business partners, both internal and external, and support other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Back up colleagues during vacations and sick leave, across both electronic and paper-based processes.
- Identify and implement process, operational, and system improvements.
- Train, mentor, and guide Treasury and Accounting Operations team members, including reviewing work and providing functional support.
- Train and onboard new team members on SOPs, ERP workflows, and client-specific processes.
- Collaborate with upstream and downstream teams to resolve interdependencies.
- Support month-end or period-end activities as required.
- Assist with reporting and tracking of operational metrics, exceptions, and control items.
- Support testing and validation during system or process changes.
Please Note: The applicants should be willing to work in 9:00 AM–6:00 PM and 11:00 AM–8:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM and 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM shift timings.
What you need to have:
- Prior experience in working in similar roles
- 3-4 years of experience in accounting
- Any relevant accounting degree
