SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst is primarily responsible for media management and data processing including, but not restricted to, handling client media, following internal processes and procedures for media storage & shipment, data intake, extraction, processing, and loading work assignments and works under limited supervision with occasional targeted guidance on new projects.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handles digital evidence following established procedures
- Performs data intake and staging of received physical and electronic data with limited supervision
- Extracts data from forensic images and mobile device collections utilizing Forensic tools
- Configures processing of data providing required settings from Client instructions
- Cull processed data using reduction strategies such as de-duplication, de-nisting, and document type filtering with occasional guidance
- Creates and initiate ingestion of load files from the processing platform to the hosting platform
- Tracks client media and data through data processing workflow, including multi-tiered documentation, data entry, and report creation
- Assists with quality control of outgoing reports and client deliverables
- Assists more junior employees, escalates complex issues
- Stores client evidence and tracks through Chain of Custody records
- Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Works effectively as part of the immediate project team and develops relationships with other teams
- General technical acumen and passion to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry
- Solves basic, moderate, and complex technical issues, such as database import errors and unknown source data formats, escalates difficult or complex issues to more senior employees
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in a client-facing role
- Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced, agile work environment.
- Familiar with eDiscovery and Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), experience working with cross-functional technical and legal teams, preferred
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Associate's Degree and 4-6 years related experience or Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years related experience
- 4 years in eDiscovery/litigation support experience

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with Arete salary and benefit policy.

Job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
