About the Project
Crypto Banter is building an AI-powered market intelligence system that analyzes social media signals (primarily Twitter) to predict and explain cryptocurrency price movements. We're looking for a Senior AI/ML Engineer to architect and develop a real-time analytics engine that correlates social sentiment with market behavior.
This is a rare opportunity to build a predictive market intelligence system from scratch that directly impacts trading decisions for millions of crypto enthusiasts. You won't just be analyzing tweets—you'll be building the infrastructure that identifies which influencers move markets, which keywords trigger price pumps, and which signals actually matter.

As our Senior AI/ML Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of our market intelligence engine, combining NLP, time-series analysis, and real-time data processing to give our community an edge in the market.
Tech Stack
Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, TimescaleDB, Apache Kafka/RabbitMQ, Pandas, scikit-learn, Transformers (HuggingFace), LLMs (OpenAI/Claude APIs), Twitter API v2, Crypto Exchange APIs (Binance, CoinGecko), Docker, AWS/GCP
Responsibilities
● Build sentiment analysis and keyword extraction systems for crypto-specific language
● Develop influence scoring algorithms to quantify account impact on price movements
● Create correlation models linking social signals to actual price movements
● Build APIs for real-time market intelligence queries
● Design time-series data architecture for historical analysis and backtesting
● Implement anomaly detection for emerging trends and viral events
● Integrate cryptocurrency exchange APIs for price and volume data
Required Qualifications
● Python – FastAPI, asyncio, Pydantic, Pandas, NumPy
● NLP & ML – sentiment analysis, topic modeling, keyword extraction, classification
● Experience with Transformers and LLMs for text analysis
● Time-series analysis and statistical modeling
● Real-time data pipelines – streaming architectures (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
● Database Design – PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Redis
● REST API integration with social media and financial platforms
● Experience with financial or market data preferred
● Understanding of crypto markets and trading dynamics
