As a Senior Accountant, you participate in timely and accurate reporting of internal US-GAAP and Local statutory requirements.
More specifically, your tasks will include:

Managing month-end close including all relevant accruals & oversee the activities

Analyzing monthly actual reporting variances vs. benchmarks
-
Maintaining internal control by being primary contact for internal employees and external Shared Services for all matters related to Finance processes

Conducting ad-hoc analysis and supporting finance on requests coming from multiple stakeholders.

Prepare the POs and ACRs.

Coordinate the statutory audit and the internal audit requests.

Support the preparation of the annual accounts.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
-
Bachelor or master’s degree in accounting, business economics or similar.

Min. 3 years’ experience in Controlling/Finance/Audit

Technical accounting expertise as demonstrated by experience with US GAAP and/or local statutory reporting

Demonstration of initiative, innovative thinking, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Adapt quickly and learn new tasks independently

Fluent in English with a good level of French and/or Dutch

Result driven, proven experience in a dynamic environment

Good communications skills both verbal and written
-
Strong analytical skills
-
MS Excel proficiency / SAP is a plus
This job can be done in one of our offices in Hoofddorp (Netherlands), Wavre or Machelen (Belgium) or Dublin (Ireland).
