SDET Tech Lead

Description

We are looking for SDET Tech Lead to join our R&D Engineering team. In this role, you will be working with agile methodologies and primarily responsible to test Aqua CSP modules with different deployments and Integrations and manage the quality of deliverables with existing and new cases for system.

Requirements

1. Hands on experience of 10+ years on any scripting or programming language
2. Very good exposure towards rest automation
3. Hands on experience on docker(writing production level docker files and docker compose)
4. Hands-on experience on Kubernetes.
5. Very good exposure to any one cloud(ex: AWS, AZURE, GCP)
6. Proficiency with Git and bitbucket workflows
7. Building and implementing terraforms
8. Proficiency administrating Jenkins CI with a deep understanding of key concepts such as agent management, Jenkins files, and the plugin system
9. Recent and minimum 3+ years of experience in Linux
10. Problem-solving attitude, Collaborative team spirit

What You'll Do:

• Utilise CI/CD tools such as bitbucket, Jenkins, and JIRA in daily operations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts for both API and UI testing.
• Provide regular status updates and collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore managers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to test automation on a day-to-day basis.
• Conduct code reviews and serve as a technical mentor for team members.
• Collaborate with managers to define and implement metrics for assessing test automation code quality.
• Work closely with managers on sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Ability to perform test automation tool evaluations in focus area
• Identify the root cause of issues and collaborate with the Development teams for resolution.
• Offer timely technical feedback on the team to managers and conduct training sessions as needed.
• Show deep understanding of our technology stack, keeping the team updated with the latest tools and frameworks. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and guide their adoption for testing purposes.
• Play a crucial role in expanding Aqua Hyderabad by actively participating in recruitment efforts.

 Nice to Have:

• Good experience with AI-powered automation tools
• Achieved CKA certification.
• Experience working with Playwright for UI automation.

 Working from Aqua Hyderabad office a minimum of 4 days per week (Mon-Thu)
