As a SDET Living Room Devices within DAZN's Technology & Product Engineering team, DAZN is seeking a talented, SDET LR to join our team and contribute to the testing of streaming applications for the LR platform. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and test suites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
This role is full-time, based in our Hyderabad, India office, 5 days a week WFO.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role, with a strong background in software testing and test automation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code to automate test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct thorough testing of front-end components, including API testing, database testing, and user interface testing.
- Perform regression testing to identify and address any defects or regressions introduced during the development process.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and debug issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations for resolution.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitor test results and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in product quality.
Skillset:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript, with experience in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including black-box testing, white-box testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Bugzilla).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and propose effective solutions.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Intermediate English. Be able to communicate and collaborate in a clear, open, and healthy way.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and quality assurance standards
