Coach and lead Scrum teams to apply the Scrum framework, facilitate ceremonies, remove impediments, track Agile metrics (velocity, burndown), use Jira/Confluence, and collaborate with stakeholders and other leads to improve delivery and team performance.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Scrum Lead to join ZL Engg PMO group. As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Scrum framework is understood and enacted. You’ll coach and guide teams to deliver high-quality product efficiently while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support and coach the development team, Product Owner, and organization in Agile best practices.
- Remove impediments or guide the team to remove them, enabling a smooth workflow.
- Track team progress using Agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, etc.
- Foster a high-performing, self-organizing team culture with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters / Project Managers and Development Leads to improve coordination.
- Ensure proper use of Agile tools like Jira, Confluence.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency around team performance and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development or IT, with 2+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile Lead role.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I/II, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira).
