Develop and maintain scalable SAP Commerce Cloud backend applications using Java and Hybris. Own modules end to end, build REST, SOAP, OCC, and SAP integrations, improve performance and security, troubleshoot production issues, implement testing and automation, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with distributed Agile and DevOps teams while supporting modules such as cart, checkout, order management, catalog, promotions, and account management.
We are looking for a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance e-commerce applications.
The ideal candidate will work as an individual contributor, owning one or more Hybris modules end-to-end and driving technical design, development, quality, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable e-commerce applications using SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and Java
- Own assigned Hybris backend modules end-to-end (design → development → deployment → support)
- Develop and integrate REST / SOAP APIs, OCC services, and SAP integrations
- Ensure high standards for code quality, performance, and security
- Implement secure coding practices using tools like SonarQube / Coverity
- Troubleshoot performance issues using APM tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
- Drive unit testing, automation, and TDD practices
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environment
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues
Requirements
- 4+ years of overall experience in enterprise application development
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud
