The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales/Solution Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and sales acumen, enabling them to effectively engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions that drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and technical requirements.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, showcasing the benefits and functionality of our solutions.
- Be a trusted advisor and partner for our customers on how best to integrate and implement solutions
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and pricing estimates.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, including industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Customize solutions based on specific customer requirements and business challenges.
- Work with customers during the implementation phase to ensure a seamless transition and successful deployment of solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and customer support to refine product offerings and ensure alignment with market needs.
- Provide feedback to the product team based on customer interactions and competitive analysis.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to effectively position our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience of a minimum of 5+ in a sales engineering or solution engineering role
- Strong understanding of manufacturing, life sciences, compliance, or quality management processes is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and strategic mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and emerging technologies.
- International exposure is a huge plus, especially if you have lived overseas.
- Ability to think from first principles. Not afraid to question authority and say ‘no’.
- Excellent understanding and usage of Google Workspace and, ideally, Notion
- Outstanding research, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to uphold a strict level of confidentiality.
- Proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties.
