About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and customer-focused Inbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. You’ll play a key role in engaging and qualifying inbound leads, understanding customer pain points, and helping potential customers discover how Alaan can create value for their business.
You’ll work closely with the Account Executive team to ensure a smooth and high-quality buyer journey from first touch to qualified opportunity.
Note: This is a remote position, not restricted to residents of the United Arab Emirates.
What you'll do
- Engage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, referrals, events, and website inquiries.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand customer pain points, business needs, and buying intent.
- Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team while ensuring a seamless handoff process.
- Follow up consistently with prospective customers across calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity tracking in Salesforce (or CRM).
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Deliver a strong first impression of Alaan through clear, consultative, and customer-centric conversations.
What we are looking for
- 1-4 year of experience in B2B SaaS/Tech Sales, Customer-facing roles, or Inbound SDR environments.
- Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Naturally curious and consultative in conversations.
- Organized and process-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to understand customer pain points and articulate value clearly.
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a plus.
