Sales Compensation Financial Analyst

As a Sales Compensation Financial Analyst you will manage the design and execution of annual sales plans, commission payroll, and productivity reporting. This role partners with leadership to drive data-driven decisions and accountability through enhanced financial reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive professional who communicates effectively with executives and thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Create and distribute finalized annual sales plans and manage quarterly adjustments as needed.

• Conduct regular scenario planning for plan attainment and sales performance modeling.

• Execute monthly commission cycles in Xactly Incent, including payroll processing and accrual recording.

• Calculate and post monthly ASC 606 entries for deferred commissions and amortization expenses.

• Drive reporting automation through existing systems to enhance management insights.

• Manage month-end close reconciliations and support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis.

Job Requirements and Preferred Skills:

• 7+ years of progressive experience in sales/financial reporting with expertise in SaaS metrics (ARR) and compensation structures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in NetSuite, Xactly Incent, and Salesforce (including dashboards).

• Proven ability to take ownership of processes and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments.

• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

• Highly organized and self-motivated with a strong bias toward productivity and multitasking.
