Payzer, a WEX Company, creates software solutions to help contractors simplify their business and make life easier.
Our software product, Payzerware, is an end-to-end Field Service Management platform that helps contractors run their business, grow sales, and simplify back-office operations. Payzerware provides comprehensive business management including schedule / dispatch, invoicing, sales proposals / invoices, and maintenance agreements. It also enables a full range of payment and financing solutions, which further help contractors decrease outstandings, generate more revenue per job, and save time.
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building innovative, user-centric web applications. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and have a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, we want you on our team.

Experience You'll Bring

5+ years of experience in full stack software development (required)

Strong proficiency in Vue.js for front-end development (required)

Experience with at least one back-end language or framework (PHP or Java preferred, but Node.js, Python, Ruby, etc. are considered) (required)

Solid understanding of modern web technologies and architecture, including RESTful APIs and microservices (required)

Experience with database design, optimization, and complex queries (required)

Object-Oriented Programming and design principles (required)

Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git (required)

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies like Docker (preferred)

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills (required)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered

Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
