Reports To: WD Sales Director

Supervises: Area Sales Managers. Area Sales Managers lead Sr. Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager.

Primary Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the regional business results to meet annual financial commitments (volume technology mix, margin, cash flow) and grow market share via establishing and executing strategic plans and driving commercial excellence for the customers.

Primary Duties:

  • Lead the team to achieve the allocated region sales and financial target to support the whole company business growth, build strategy, plan and tactics to complete the regional WD channel development
  • Develop partnership WD to achieve sustainable success
  • Be responsible for monitoring the financial capability of WD, managing the AR collection and provide support on solving the PD issue for the whole region
  • Manage and support ASM to realize the area target including sales volume, new WD development, product mix, help ASM on WD management when necessary
  • Maintain and develop healthy relationship with key customers, help the WD to set up growth strategy, sales team management, service capability improvement etc.
  • Actively work with retail department to implement the retail projects, build solid basis for potential business growth in the channel
  • Develop sales forecast and objectives and formulate promotional plans to achieve and exceed the sales target
  • Review and coach team performance and develop sales team with right capabilities
  • Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, finance, sales operations team to ensure the achievement of the sales target
  • Join the company meeting and provide marketing information for top management decision making

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering or other appropriate discipline.
  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience with 8 years of aftermarket channel experience in automotive industry
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience.
  • Strong business, financial and legal acumen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Superior analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to quickly grasp and interpret information pertinent to the strategic growth and objectives of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data to business conclusion.
  • Technical knowledge of lead-acid preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Significant travel, and non-traditional work hours.
