The role
QA/Test Automation (GDC)
• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end systems integration testing of applications
• 3+ Years of experience in test automation using JMeter and Selenium
• Should have strong experience in functional, automation, API testing, Mobile and Backend Testing
• 3+ years of experience testing in AWS Services, DynamoDB, Rest API’s, Angular applications
• Should have strong experience working in Could Environment and using, Github, Jira, Jenkins and Zephyr tools
• Excellent understanding of the SDLC process and familiar with the various testing methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiar with flood.io, Power BI, AWS Quick Sights
• Reviews application requirements/ User Stories and project documentation and asks follow-up questions as needed to gain a full understanding of end to end business process requirements
• Ability to work with the Test Manager to create Test Plans, participate in scrum ceremonies and represent the Quality Assurance team.
• Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the business lines.
• Prioritize end to end joint integration test executions by working closely with the project teams.
• Prepare and present testing related metrics to stake holders.
• Provide technical help to the QA team members.
• Collaboratively work with different testing teams and ensure testing standards and client expectations are met.
• Write and maintains test automation using JMeter, Selenium
• Identify risks that may impact project timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the Test Manager
• Ensures QA standards are maintained and followed across the projects and phases.
• Identifies and analyses the Risk at an early stage of the project and come up with mitigation plans as needed.
• Be flexible and creative in handling multiple activities and contentions in priorities. Takes initiative to resolve issues and tackle roadblocks.
• Maintain an advanced level of knowledge and expertise on Test management tools and quality assurance concepts and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative methodologies).
