Scope:
- As a QA Engineer (P2), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products by designing, developing, and executing rigorous testing strategies. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality products on time .
Our current technical environment:
- Software: JavaScript, SQL, REST Assured, Postman, Newman, Jmeter, Blazemeter(Good to know)
- Tools and Methodologies: Agile, Exploratory Testing, API Testing, Test Automation
- Cloud Platforms: Azure (Good to know)
- Domain Knowledge: Supply Chain Management (preferred)
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and other test artifacts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our products.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve defects throughout the development process.
- Advocate for best practices in testing methodologies, tools, and automation frameworks.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Analyse test results, identify the root causes of defects, and track bug resolution to ensure product quality.
- Work closely with product managers and development teams to define acceptance criteria and support successful product launches.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software testing to ensure the team's methods and tools are up to date.
- Automate testcases using Postman and Newman scripts.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
What we are looking for:
- 1.5 - 3 Yrs Strong understanding of QA principles and best practices.
- Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks (REST Assured).
- Experience with API testing tools and methodologies, with a strong focus on REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL databases.
- Good to have knowledge on with cloud platforms like Azure.
