Role:
As a Senior QA Automation, you will lead the transformation from manual testing to fully automated, shift‑left quality engineering across Store Web modernization. You will design contract‑testing frameworks, reliability gates, smoke‑test automation, and offline validation suites that ensure zero‑regression cutovers. This is a deeply technical, hands‑on role where your automation frameworks, reliability patterns, and quality governance will shape how modernization teams deliver safely and predictably.
What you will do
Architect API‑first contract‑testing frameworks that validate APIM routing, compatibility, and strangled services.
Integrate smoke, regression, and reliability tests directly into CI/CD pipelines with automated gating.
Design offline, reconnect, and degraded‑network scenario suits ensuring robust client and backend behavior.
Implement data‑integrity validation frameworks, reconciliation checks, and pre‑/post‑deployment verification.
Partner with developers to embed testability patterns—telemetry hooks, mocks/stubs, and fault‑injection points.
Define release‑readiness criteria grounded in reliability of metrics, automated validation, and service‑level health.
Continuously evolving automation tooling, frameworks, and quality accelerators adopted across modernization teams.
Drive a culture of reliability engineering through documentation, training, and cross‑team technical leadership.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years automation engineering experience focused on API‑first or distributed systems.
Hands-on experience into Manual & Automation testing transforming experience
- Expertise integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with gating and quality enforcement.
Hands‑on experience building test frameworks supporting cloud‑native or modernized architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with consumer‑driven contract testing (CDC) frameworks.
Background in performance, resilience, or chaos‑testing patterns.
Familiarity with event‑driven validation, async workflow testing, or distributed‑state consistency checks.
