Design and maintain automated tests using Python and Pytest; test REST APIs, databases, data pipelines, and Power BI dashboards. Validate data accuracy and reconciliation across source systems, APIs, databases, and reporting layers. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing, document defects, collaborate with development and data teams, and improve automation coverage and framework efficiency.
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Python, Pytest, SQL/Database testing, API testing, and Power BI testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing automation frameworks, validating data and APIs, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of reporting dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
- Perform API testing for REST APIs, including functional, integration, regression, and negative testing.
- Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation between source systems, databases, APIs, and reporting layers.
- Test Power BI dashboards and reports, including data accuracy, filters, calculations, visualizations, and report-level functionality.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
- Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Participate in test planning, execution, and automation framework improvements.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business teams to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Contribute to improving test coverage and automation efficiency.
