Key Responsibilities
- Implement standards in test automation, code quality, and framework design
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and maintainable test suites
- Implement efficient locator strategies (CSS, XPath, Playwright locators, etc.) to improve stability
- Leverage AI/Agent-based automation approaches to enhance productivity and test coverage
- Drive adoption of modern automation tools (Playwright / Selenium)
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution
- Perform root cause analysis of test failures and reduce test flakiness
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and DevOps for shift-left testing
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in Test Automation
- Strong expertise in Selenium and/or Playwright
- Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript / Python
- Hands-on experience with locator strategies (dynamic elements, shadow DOM, iframes, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI Agents / intelligent automation tools for test generation or execution
- Experience using Visual Studio Code with Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools
- Solid understanding of web technologies (DOM, APIs, browser behavior)
- Experience with test frameworks, assertions, and reporting tools
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience in API automation (REST/GraphQL)
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
- Exposure to performance and security testing
- Understanding of cloud-based test execution and parallelization
- Experience in test data management and mocking/stubbing
