As an Executive Director of Global Technology Transformation within our Global Technology team, you will be tasked with the execution and daily management of strategic technology transformation programs in India. Your pivotal role will ensure the successful delivery of complex, high-impact projects that align with our global business objectives. This role demands a strategic thinker with robust analytical skills and a profound understanding of technology trends and their influence on business processes. You will have the chance to spearhead large-scale technology projects, encourage cross-functional collaboration, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and Execute Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and within budget. Implement robust project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Lead and Manage Teams Collaborate with colleagues as peers and achieve goals without direct control over resources. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages professional growth and development. Facilitate effective communication and build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in. Provide the team with necessary resources, skills, and support to achieve their goals.
- Manage GT Resiliency Lead the Resiliency process across all functions and locations in GT India. Partner with the Corporate Center Resiliency team to ensure compliance within the Resiliency framework and contribute to the wider CC-wide resiliency agenda. Collaborate with LOB/function resiliency SPOCs/teams within GT, ensuring information and action items are cascaded and bubbled-up as needed.
- Engage Stakeholders Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency in a simple and easy-to-consume manner, tailored to the target audience.
- Manage Risks Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technology transformation initiatives proactively. Implement risk management frameworks to address potential challenges and issues. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Allocate Resources Manage resources effectively to ensure the successful delivery of transformation projects. Optimize the use of internal and external resources, including vendors and consultants.
- Implement Change Management Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of modern technologies and processes. Address resistance to change and ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Measure Performance Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of transformation initiatives. Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise. .
- Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, distributed ledger, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, and software development
- Proven experience in leading with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with senior executives, business leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- High proficiency with PowerPoint for executive level documents and Excel based model for program analytic

- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems that arise during the execution of technology transformation initiatives
- Working with ambiguity and laser focused on delivering results. Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Skilled in negotiating and resolving conflicts to achieve project goals and maintain positive stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to assess project performance, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Experience with Agile and/or Lean methodologies and tools is preferred.
