Product Regulatory & Compliance Engineer - E-commerce (Electrical & Electronics)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Product Compliance & Conformity Analyst to support end-to-end regulatory compliance and market access activities for products sold through leading e-commerce platforms. This role is part of SGS Technical Support Services and involves working closely with cross-functional teams, clients, suppliers, laboratories, regulators, and marketplace partners to ensure products meet applicable regulatory and conformity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end product conformity and regulatory compliance activities for e-commerce products.
• Review and validate technical documentation, including test reports, Certificates of Conformity (CoCs), technical files, declarations, and supporting compliance evidence.
• Coordinate compliance workflows with internal teams, suppliers, clients, laboratories, regulators, and e-commerce marketplaces.
• Monitor compliance submissions, identify documentation gaps, and ensure timely closure of regulatory requirements.
• Support market access activities by ensuring products comply with applicable regulations, standards, and certification requirements.
• Maintain compliance trackers, documentation repositories, and project status reports across multiple product categories and brands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve technical and compliance-related issues within defined timelines.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of compliance documentation while meeting service delivery deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• 2-4 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory services, conformity assessment, technical documentation review, certification, or related technical compliance functions.
• Experience reviewing technical documents such as test reports, certificates, product specifications, and regulatory documentation.
• Strong understanding of conformity assessment processes, product compliance, regulatory documentation, and certification workflows.
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC standards, regulatory frameworks, and product certification schemes.
• Experience supporting product categories such as electronics, consumer products, toys, cosmetics, softlines, or hardlines is preferred.
• Exposure to compliance requirements for e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, digital compliance portals, and documentation management tools.
