The BI platform product Owner will be responsible for managing and enhancing capabilities of our OneTru BI platform and tools . This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in platform-level work and has a deep understanding of core BI capabilities. The ideal candidate will be able to connect the dots by understanding user requirements from different regions, analyzing gaps in our BI implementation, and working with the engineering team to bridge those gaps. This role also involves helping the team migrate to oneTru Insights.
What You'll Bring:• Minimum of 6 years of experience as a product owner ideally with a focused on BI platforms and its capabilities, managing the lifecycle of BI tools• Understand and connect user requirements across different regions, ensuring solutions meet diverse needs.• Analyze gaps in current implementations and collaborate with engineering to develop and implement solutions.• Lead the migration efforts to BI solutions, ensuring a smooth transition for all stakeholders.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver BI solutions that drive business value. Develop and maintain a product roadmap for BI capabilities, aligning with business goals and user needs.• Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge.• Provide training and support to users, enhancing their ability to leverage BI tools effectively.• Strong understanding of sematic layer and data transformations concepts• Proven track record of launching successful, scalable technology platforms• Strong technical acumen and ability to collaborate with engineering teams and end users• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written• Strategic thinker with strong bias for action
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience as a platform product owner or similar role in BI capabilities, with a strong understanding of Tableau /Superset.
- Experience with platform-level work and a deep understanding of core BI capabilities.
- Ability to analyze and understand user requirements, translating them into actionable plans.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify gaps and work with engineering to develop solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience in leading migration projects and ensuring seamless transitions.
- Knowledge of the latest BI trends and technologies.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Strategy & Execution: Align our platform strategy with execution, ensuring the user story backlog is prioritized, refined, and aligned with key initiatives and features
User Story Creation: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements as detailed user stories and acceptance criteria
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the liaison between the development team and external stakeholders, ensuring open communication channels and clear expectation
Agile Expertise: Champion agile practices across the product team, ensuring efficient and effective product development cycles
As Product Owner for our Global Data Analytics Platform, you will leverage your experience & expertise in data analytics & machine learning to work closely with your scrum teams ensuring prioritization and alignment
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
