Responsibilities:

Providing in-depth analysis to business unit on how to grow the assigned portfolio and new market development areas.

Conducting competitive product/pricing analysis and market research, formulating strategic plans, goals, and objectives for specific products

Influencing critical Design-In activities with identified key customers and sales channels.

Initiating marketing programs and product promotion to optimize push-pull strategy through sales channels

Use creative means to find new Protection customers
-
Help closing existing opportunities
-
Be a technical resource to the customer base and field teams
-
Be a technical resource to the rep channel to help close existing opportunities
-
Develop collateral tools targeted at the customer base
-
Create new sales tools and collateral
-
Participate in customer calls, rep training, and distribution training
-
Conduct product training at customers
-
Conduct product training to Semtechs representative and sales partners
-
Works on tasks of moderate complexity that require some independent thinking and initiative.
-
Example: creating collateral, helping reps and sales win/effect business in the Americas.
-
Train Reps and Distributors on Semtech products
-
Visit customers in person or on teams meetings and present key benefits and messaging of Semtechs products.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum of 6+ years in semiconductor marketing, business development, application, or related experience.

Ability to learn TVS/Protection working principles and how the Protection products are presented to the market.
-
Experience in Industrial, Telecom & automotive applications will be an added advantage.

Must be able to work independently and work well with the Protection sales team.

Effective verbal and written communication to interface at all levels within the organization

Strong sense of urgency to meet product requirements on schedule.
-
Self-driven individuals with strong communication skills to influence decision makers.
-
Experience in working with international and cross-functional teams.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point

Frequent travels will be required up to 40%
