Job Purpose:
As a valued member of the Product Management Team, the Product Manager works with other product owners, internal stakeholders and customers to determine priorities. The position will also maintain the backlog and owns the Product Roadmap for their respective products. They are ultimately responsible that the right product is delivered to our customers
Responsibilities:
- Prioritizes the product backlog and coordinates with stakeholders including the other Product Owners, the market, executives, customers, and the team to deliver maximum value and quality to the market. Works with other Product Owners to ensure dependencies are prioritized appropriately across teams.
- Creates and manages a detailed backlog of user stories and participate in sprint planning
- Continuously prioritizes incoming business and customer requests to plan the product releases most valuable to the organization
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the relevant product domains
- Develops an understanding of the target market and user base; Uses this to guide product decisions
- Develops epics, features and user stories for all new functionality. Partners with stakeholders to help define Minimal Viable Product (MVP) that delivers incremental value; Ensures MVP aligns with strategic goals
- Works with the Scrum team and other Product Owners on release planning. Inspects, accepts, or rejects completed work from the Dev cycle. Communicates work in progress and upcoming work to key stakeholders
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- MBA preferred
- 3+ years of relevant Business Analyst or Product Coordinator experience in an Agile software product development environment
- Experience with Agile backlog management tools, such as Target Process (preferred), Confluence, Jira or VersionOne
- Experience collaborating with UX resources to complete wire-frames/mock-ups with tools such as Axure, Visio, Balsamiq, etc.
Work Timings:
Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. This will provide healthy overlap between India team and US team and supporting both to ensure adequate collaboration. This role will be working in Hybrid Mode and will require at least 2 to 3 days’ work from office at Hyderabad.
