The Facilities Manager will provide comprehensive facility and maintenance support for the Prince George's County, MD Emergency Dispatch Center, encompassing both the primary and backup facilities.
Job Description

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the primary 911 Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) and its backup facility at the Emergency Command Center (ECC) in Prince George's County.  

• Collaborate with Motorola Solutions' dedicated Facilities Manager to coordinate all necessary repairs and maintenance with third-party vendors, encompassing UPS, generators, HVAC, and other building systems.

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on UPS and generator equipment at both the PSCC and backup 911 center.

• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on the HVAC systems, including temperature control, at both the PSCC and backup 911 center.

• Provide repair and maintenance services for the fire suppression systems at both the PSCC and backup 911 center.

• Maintain and repair the building security and access control systems at both the PSCC and backup 911 center.

• Ensure the functionality of interior and exterior building lighting at both the PSCC and backup 911 center.

• Perform repair and maintenance of non-critical printer and copier equipment located in the ECC building's lower level.

• Maintain the functionality of exterior parking lot lighting.

Candidate Experience: 

• Comprehensive understanding of UPS systems, generators, HVAC systems, and other building control and operational systems.

• Proficient knowledge of building materials and construction techniques.

• Thorough familiarity with local city and county building codes, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC regulations.

• Knowledgeable of electrical wiring, plumbing and HVAC.

• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and create building and mechanical drawings (blueprints).

• Skilled in the use of various construction tools.

Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $196,200 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

6+ years of experience with one of the following: UPS, Generators, HVAC, Fire Suppression Systems, Building Security/Access Control, Building Control Systems, Electrical Wiring, Plumbing, Blueprint Reading/Creation, Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Construction Tools, Building Materials, 911 Public Safety Communications Center (PSCC) or Emergency Command Center (ECC)
