We are seeking a highly skilled Presales Senior Analyst with 6–8 years of experience in ERP, specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain or Operations. The ideal candidate should bring a strong mix of functional and technical expertise, combined with excellent sales skills to engage with clients, design solutions, and drive the sales cycle. This role requires someone who understands core finance processes, ERP ecosystems, and Microsoft’s cloud platform, and can confidently communicate value to both business and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead presales activities for D365 Finance and Operations, including requirement gathering, solution mapping, RFP responses, and product demonstrations.
- Conduct tailored presentations and proofs-of-concept for CXO and senior management audiences.
- Analyze client business processes and propose best-fit solutions leveraging D365 Finance.
- Collaborate with sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to craft winning proposals and solution blueprints.
- Provide thought leadership by articulating industry use cases and positioning D365 Finance against competitive ERP offerings.
- Stay updated on Microsoft licensing models, product roadmap, and ERP market trends.
- Act as a key liaison between presales and delivery, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong expertise in core D365 Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Compliance & Reporting.
- Deep understanding of financial processes: Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and FP&A.
- Awareness of multi-entity, multi-currency, tax, and compliance requirements.
- Industry exposure to Manufacturing, Professional Services, Retail, or Healthcare finance operations.
- Experience in ERP transformation projects (preferably Microsoft, but exposure to SAP/Oracle/NetSuite is a plus).
Technical Awareness (working knowledge, not deep coding)
- Integration of D365 Finance with Power BI, Power Platform, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with Azure hosting, APIs, security, and data integration points.
- Understanding of Microsoft licensing models.
- Knowledge of ERP reporting, dashboards, and automation tools.
Soft Skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, confident with CXO-level engagements.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into D365 Finance capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset for structuring demos and RFPs.
- Collaborative and proactive, working effectively with sales, delivery, and product teams.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to build trust and credibility quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications (MB-310 Finance Functional Consultant or related).
- Strong track record in presales or solution consulting roles for ERP systems.
