The job
Looking for a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with over 5 years of experience in designing and developing advanced data visualizations and reports. This role is crucial to supporting our data analytics initiatives, providing data-driven insights through Power BI, and optimizing reporting capabilities across the organization. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Power BI, DAX, and SQL, and be well-versed in Azure Data Factory. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and .NET would be a valuable asset.

Essential requirements
- Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business and user requirements.
- DAX Expertise: Write and optimize complex DAX queries and formulas for effective data modeling and insights.
- Data Transformation & Modeling: Build and manage data models within Power BI; optimize datasets for report performance and usability.
- SQL & Database Proficiency: Develop and run SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data as needed, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Azure Data Factory: Utilize Azure Data Factory to build and manage ETL pipelines, facilitating seamless data integration.
Desired skills and competencies
- Microsoft Fabric: Leverage Fabric for advanced data integration and connectivity across Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Factory.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Documentation & Standards: Document processes, best practices, and development workflows to maintain consistency and quality.
- .NET Experience (Preferred): Integrate Power BI solutions with .NET applications as needed, enhancing functionality and reporting capabilities.
