At Envoy Global, we have an opening within our Platform team for an experienced QA Analyst.
As a Platform QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through rigorous testing and validation processes. You will focus on identifying and resolving issues related to platform functionality, performance, and security, collaborating closely with development teams to deliver a seamless user experience. Your expertise in API testing and automation will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
As our Platform QA Analyst, you will be required to:
- Lead and execute comprehensive testing strategies for platform and API testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Postman and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Analyse and report test results, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior QA analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Develop and implement API testing strategies to ensure robust and secure integrations.
- Monitor API performance and reliability, identifying and addressing potential issues.
- Ensure API documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to key stakeholders
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on platform and API testing.
- Proficiency in using Postman for API testing.
- Strong understanding of RESTful services and JSON.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Playwright) and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance.
- Ability to balance risks in ambiguous and complex situations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with security testing tools and methodologies is a plus.
- Knowledge of privacy and security standards, including GDPR and CCPA is a plus.
