As a Platform Engineer at CloudRaft, you will architect and automate mission-critical infrastructure for diverse cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Your expertise will drive technical excellence and operational efficiency at scale.
- Design and deploy architectures for customer platforms (Kubernetes exposure/experience preferred).
- Lead Infrastructure as Code efforts (Terraform, Crossplane) for environment automation.
- Build internal automation tooling to optimize deployment and maintenance (proficiency in Golang, TypeScript, or at least one major programming language required).
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
- Define and execute GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Work independently with customers, serving as a guiding light for projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 4+ years in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
- Experience with GitOps and cloud environments (Kubernetes experience is an advantage, not required).
- Expertise with AWS (including programming and automation using AWS services and SDKs); proficiency in other cloud platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang or TypeScript.
- Proven delivery of CI/CD and infrastructure at scale.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a growth mindset.
- Preferred: Open-source involvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Soft Skills: Customer empathy, ability to work independently with customers, and strong interpersonal skills.
