Job Title: Oracle Applications Technical Lead
Location: Bangalore
Schedule: Monday to Friday (2:00pm - 11pm IST)
Working Model: Hybrid (3 days from the office)
CSC is seeking to onboard an Oracle Applications Technical lead for leading the Oracle Applications technical team and managing the technical deliverables in collaboration with consultant partners in India. The position will report to the Manager of Technology of Finance Technology and work closely with global Finance, technology, and business partners across the enterprise. The Finance technology team is looking for this person to play a key role in managing all technical deliverables of Oracle Financials along with new projects within Oracle Applications. Projects involve working with various Finance department stakeholders and Functional consultants to provide the optional solution/tool. This role will also play a key role in supporting Finance departments vision of migrating on premise Oracle Financials to Cloud. This role will be responsible for delivering high quality service to CSC's growing global business.
Some of the things you will be doing:
- Requirement analysis, design, build, test and deployment of projects
- Coordination and managing the technical components and its delivery
- Collaborate with business analysts, functional team to understand business / functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions within Oracle EBS
- Design, develop, and implement customizations, extensions, interfaces, and reports using Oracle tools and technologies.
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, system errors, and performance problems in collaboration with technical teams.
- Work closely with Global Functional Leads and Business Process Owners in the implementation of Oracle application functionalities
- Responsible for all technical deliveries of Oracle Applications
- Responsible for managing all inbound and outbound components of Oracle Applications.
- Create and maintain all technical documentation including design, architecture and Unit testing
- Triage critical technical issues across technical team members
- Co-Ordinate technical releases and Change control process
- Bridge the gap between project and support teams through strong technical expertise
- Responsible for Performance Test Plan/Benchmark Plan definition and maintenance
- Provide technical expertise for migration of On Prem to Cloud migration, due diligence and implementation
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?
- BE in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in following Oracle E-Business Suite Modules: Oracle Inventory, Oracle Service Contracts, Advance Pricing, General Ledger, Receivables, Purchasing, Payables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, E-Business Tax.
- Support business during month end close in the above-mentioned modules.
- Excellent working knowledge in Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, API, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), SOA, Workflows, Rest API, BI Publisher, Apex and Unix scripts
- Excellent understanding of the data flows within Oracle EBS
- Experience in Data Migration and Integration of Oracle Financial modules with third-party applications
- Sound knowledge of Oracle development tools and standards.
- Understanding the requirement / Design / Development /Troubleshooting and unit testing for both delivered and custom requirements
- Experience with various ERP support models and best practices
- Significant experience working with business counterparts for all clarifications, requirements, scoping and status.
- Self-motivated and proven record of executing deliverables effectively
- Ability and desire to coach team members and business partners on solution adoption and utilization
- Superior communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the company with a focus on senior management.
- Strong domain knowledge with attention to detail.
- Strong advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
