- This position will be responsible for managing Enterprise wide Oracle Database environments into the Verizon wireless systems.

- Replication configuration, upgrades and fixing issues

- Cloud Migration Responsibilities: The candidate should possess superior industry knowledge, domain experience and expertise in Oracle Internals, Performance Tuning, RAC Configurations, Security Administration, Replication, Data Modeling .
- Should have experience working closely with development teams to design & optimize database schema based on application access patterns.
- Need to maintain Oracle On Prem, AWS RDS and EC2 db instances .
- Good experience on Oracle Database Architecture and RMAN Backup and recovery procedures.
- Prior experience working with Agile methodologies. .
- Replication technologies - Golden Gate, Shareplex, etc . Data Guard configuration .
- Extensive experience in Amazon AWS cloud infrastructure with particular reference to provisioning, security, and management. Design AWS infrastructure to move local applications to public & private cloud.
- Design complex solutions which integrate AWS cloud, on premise physical and Virtual server, EC2, S3 storage, networking and security. Conduct systems design, feasibility and cost studies and recommend cost-effective cloud solutions .
- Experience in any scripting language like Python, shell, perl is an added advantage . Experience on Oracle Golden gate & Shareplex replication utilities .
- Extensive Knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience on RAC, ASM, Performance Tuning . Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Participates in continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality . 247 on-call operations for mission critical application.
- Must have good verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills . Working closely with Dev/App teams for troubleshooting and RCA preparations.
