Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using MarkLogic. Develop XQuery and JavaScript queries, optimize performance, and ensure best practices in a collaborative Agile environment.
We are seeking an experienced MarkLogic Developer with strong expertise in XQuery to design, develop, and maintain high-performance MarkLogic-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing complex queries, optimizing performance, and working in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using MarkLogic database.
- Write efficient XQuery and JavaScript queries for data retrieval, transformation, and manipulation.
- Develop and optimize MarkLogic modules, indexes, and search functionality. Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of MarkLogic applications.
- Implement data ingestion pipelines and handle ETL processes within MarkLogic.
- Ensure best practices for code quality, security, and application performance.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in MarkLogic development. Strong expertise in XQuery (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with MarkLogic Server, indexes, and modules.
- Experience with XML, JSON, and data modeling in MarkLogic. Knowledge of REST APIs, Search API, and MarkLogic application development. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
