Job responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of ETL developers and cloud engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes to support data integration and transformation needs.
- Oversee the deployment and management of cloud-based data platforms, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through effective data governance and validation processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL and cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and resolve any issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and cloud architectures.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
- Experience in leading ETL + Cloud technology projects is MUST
- Experience managing technologists
- Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology discipline
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience working at code level
- Lead projects ETL, JAVA and Cloud
- AWS or any cloud certification is MUST
