Responsibilities
- Independently utilize innovative test methodologies to develop test plans and test strategies
- Mentor a team of 10-12 people
- Conduct effective test reviews and test documents
- Build teams to execute functional, performance, security and scalability testing
- Mentor team to develop specialized testing tools for use in testing our platform
- Mentor and guide team into a full-fledged white box testing team
- Review teams performance for coverage and quality of test suites
- Participate in test suite design and test reviews
- Focus on quality excellence
Skills
- Good understanding of web services and distributed systems
- Should have worked with at least one programming language and have hands on experience with databases.
- Experience with tools and technologies used for automation on web or mobile.
- Proven understanding of gray box and black box testing techniques
- Hands on experience with various REST API, Web and Mobile application testing tools
- Excellent debugging skills, measures and analyses code for quality
- Good communication skills with ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and Business units
Experience and Qualifications
- 10-15 years of proven experience in QA
- B.Tech/M.Tech in computer science, information technology or a related field.
