ROLE DETAILS
The Manager Learning & Development at Lilly Capability Center India (LCCI) - Hyderabad will manage and facilitate onboarding programs and employee skill development learning initiatives. This role will be crucial in ensuring that new hires are successfully integrated into the organization, while also providing a high level of support for their ongoing learning and development. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation skills, a background in program coordination, an understanding of SuccessFactors (SF) and a passion for delivering impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Program management:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are effectively introduced to company culture, values, and operational processes.
- Facilitate and deliver onboarding sessions like Welcome and overview sessions.
- Oversee the coordination of onboarding schedules, resources, and logistics, ensuring all onboarding activities are delivered seamlessly.
- Serve as the main point of contact for new employees throughout their onboarding journey, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the onboarding program and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure onboarding materials are up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with organizational values and strategic objectives.
Training Facilitation & Delivery:
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions for new hires and individual contributors, focusing on core company values, policies, and essential behavioural skills.
- Foster an engaging learning environment that encourages participation, collaboration, and practical application of learning.
Program Coordination & Logistics:
- Oversee the logistical coordination for multiple L&D programs, including scheduling, and communication with stakeholders.
- Maintain and manage training calendars, ensuring all programs are delivered on time and that all participants are informed in advance.
- Coordinate with One India extended teams and trainers to ensure successful program delivery.
SuccessFactors (SF) LMS Management & Reporting:
- Leverage SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS) to track, report, and manage the delivery of onboarding and training programs.
- Track attendance, completion rates, and learner progress within SuccessFactors, generating reports for management as needed.
Content Curation & Development Support:
- Assist in curating and developing training content, including materials for onboarding, orientation, and skill-building sessions.
- Ensure that all learning materials are aligned with organizational goals and support the ongoing professional development of employees.
Skills and Expertise:
- Proven experience in facilitating training sessions for new hires and individual contributors.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, schedules, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SuccessFactors LMS and a good knowledge of MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience and Education:
- 3-5 years of experience in Learning & Development or a related field, with a focus on onboarding, facilitation, and program coordination.
- At least 1 year of experience in facilitating training programs for individual contributors or new hires.
- Strong background in managing logistics and coordinating multiple learning initiatives.
- Exposure to SuccessFactors LMS.
- A graduate degree and/or a Post graduate degree in Human Resources/Organizational Development
- Good to have relevant certifications in Learning/Training
