SUMMARY
The Manager, India Marketing is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns that amplify brand awareness, drive revenue, and establish a strong, positive brand reputation within the region. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and regional stakeholders, the Manager ensures consistent, high-quality brand messaging that supports long-term growth and positions the company as a leader in the market.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and executes B2B marketing campaigns aimed at generating high-quality leads and nurturing them through the sales funnel. This includes email marketing, social media, paid media, webinars, content marketing, and events
- Manages complex marketing campaigns from start to finish, including managing timelines, budgets and resources
- Works closely with the sales team to identify target audiences and align marketing efforts to support sales objectives. Provides marketing collateral, sales enablement tools, and actionable insights to drive conversions and close deals
- Builds and strengthens the company’s brand presence in the cybersecurity industry in India and Asia Pacific (APAC) region through content creation, social media engagement, and industry partnerships. Positions the company as a thought leader in the field of cybersecurity
- Gathers insights on customer needs, competitor activities, and market trends continuously to inform marketing strategies and adjusts campaigns accordingly
- Collaborates with other departments such as sales, business development, threat intelligence, and service delivery teams to ensure that all marketing initiatives align with the overall business strategy
- Measures and analyzes brand recall using tools such as surveys, customer feedback platforms, Net Promoter Score (NPS), and customer engagement metrics
- Develops and implements strategies to enhance brand value and awareness, with a focus on industry recognition and corporate decision-maker engagement
- Utilizes account-based marketing (ABM) strategies, client testimonials, and case studies to strengthen brand positioning and increase visibility within key market segments
- Creates actionable contents for leadership team to engage with targeted audiences on different platforms such as but not limited to, Linkedin
- Measures and analyses the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Provides regular reports on lead generation performance, marketing return on investment (ROI), and key metrics to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations to optimize future campaigns
- Manages the creation of high-quality marketing content, including case studies, white papers, blog posts, and infographics, to educate prospects and establish the company’s expertise in cybersecurity
- Plans and executes online and offline events, including webinars, virtual conferences, and trade shows, to engage prospects, build relationships, and generate leads
- Develops and manages the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources across campaigns and initiatives
- Monitors spending and tracks ROI to ensure financial goals are met, making adjustments as necessary
- Leads the creation of marketing materials and communication assets for all departments to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and design across the organization. This includes designing brochures, presentations, internal communication templates, and other collateral as needed to support business functions
- Improves processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
- Stays informed about industry trends and developments to ensure that the organization's strategy remains competitive
- May perform other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
- Ability to strategically develop marketing plans that align with the overall business strategy while also being hands-on in executing them effectively. A balance of creative and execution skills is crucial
- Ability to think critically, creatively, and innovatively
- Proven track record of generating and nurturing leads that convert to sales-qualified opportunities. Experience with tools like HubSpot or similar is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively and to create compelling content that resonates with B2B clients in the cybersecurity industry
- Strong customer-focused skills to understand the needs and preferences of the target audience
- Strong analytical skills to forecast and identify trends & challenges while making data-driven decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with sales and other leadership teams
- Ability to manage marketing campaigns from start to finish
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications and data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, LinkedIn Ads) is essential
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels such as SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and email marketing
- Strong Proficiency in marketing automation software and other marketing tools
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience with cybersecurity products and services, or understanding of the cybersecurity landscape preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in marketing or related field
