What is the Manager, Fund Admin & Reporting responsible for?

Directing or conducting a variety of financial reporting activities for the organization, including oversight and review of financial statements, preparation and review of inquiries from limited partners and other financial reporting tasks to ensure these are completed in accordance with department procedures and regulatory requirements.

Working with domestic reporting team and external auditors to ensure financial reporting complies with local GAAP requirements and industry guidelines, and participating in product launch activities related to financial reporting.
What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Manager - Fund admin & Reporting?
Production & Delivery:

Supervise and review the work of analysts and senior analysts including the preparation and review of quarterly financial statements and business reports and investor requests

Managing processes and activities through downstream leaders and team members to achieve expected service, solution or product outcomes for team and/ or department of accountability.

Ensuring all work is completed timely, accurately and according to procedures.

Makes decisions regarding processes/systems issues, utilizing depth of knowledge/technical expertise to provide guidance and direction to teams.

Makes hiring and termination decisions for both individual contributors and supervisors

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone be successful in this role?

Minimum of 10 years of experience working in financial reporting/audit/financial services with a focus on private equity.

Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Qualified chartered accountant - ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Windows, etc.).

A strong track record of leadership and team management, demonstrating the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
-
Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skill along with strong mathematical skills as well as proficiency in Excel.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and with external partners.

The candidate must be a strong team player, but also work with a fair degree of autonomy and take responsibility & ownership of their work.

Strong attention to details & well organized.

Effectively resolves problems and makes quality decisions.

Candidates with audit experience background will be considered favorably.
