Lead the design and development of Microservices applications using Java and Groovy, ensuring high-quality software delivery in Agile environments. Collaborate across teams for technical solutions and perform testing and production support activities.
Description and Requirements
Lead the technical design/development/integration of solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
Design, develop, maintain, enhance, and support Microservices applications using Java, Groovy, Spring, Spring boot and other microservices technologies.
Partner across different development teams to understand the technology thoroughly and craft end-to-end technical solutions.
Participate in fit/gap analysis of requirements, help manage user expectations and provide options, develop technical designs, conduct peer code reviews, and write code.
Conduct design and code reviews, validate conformance with established standards and best practices.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.
Perform different types of tests such as unit, integration, functional, end-to-end, performance, and smoke testing
Perform Production support activities such as reproducing user scenarios, diagnosis, remediation, testing, and code deployments.
Diagnose, document, and resolve currency issues such as outdated libraries, deferred upgrades, insufficient testing, etc.
Work with Risk and Security Teams to fix code vulnerabilities based on research.
Create and update necessary technical documentation.
