Opportunity snapshot:

Member of the production support team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and stability of the corporate superannuation fund technology service. This role encompasses managing day-to-day activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving platform performance and supporting the business with key processes and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident response for production hosted environments
• Monitor and support production systems; resolve incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Support and execute deployments and configuration changes in production and non-production environments following change management processes
• Coordinate between operations, business teams, delivery teams, and external vendors facilitate service restoration and delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, fixes, and operational procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement

Skills and Competencies:

• IT degree, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise application environments
• Solid understanding of DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering practices
• Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies
• Prior experience with Enterprise Disaster Recovery, backup processes, and system patching
• Proficiency working with ITIL based processes and systems
• Understanding of infrastructure hosted on GCP
• A passion for continuous improvement
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application, database, and system integrations
• Monitoring system and application health and alerts
• Flexibility in working arrangements
• Team player and a can-do attitude
• Strong problem solving and communication skills

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C#, Python, Bash/Shell, and MS SQL development and debugging
• Experience with ODBC, SPAN RPC, ASP, JBOSS, and .NET services/applications
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Elastic, LogicMonitor, Dynatrace
• Experience with ServiceNOW, JIRA, and Confluence
• Understanding of application debugging using Visual Studio and log analysis
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, NexusIQ
• Unix and Windows Server experience

Desirable Skills (Nice to have):

• Exposure to Bravura products or similar Superannuation technology stacks and architecture.
• Experience working with Control-M or other batch scheduling systems
• Experience working with Launch Darkly or similar feature enablement/release platforms
• Awareness of evolving enterprise application architectures and integration patterns
