What's the role?
Responsibilities
- Agile development of software
- Continuous integration and automated testing of developed code
- Continuous integration and continuous delivery of systems and infrastructure
- Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects
- Deployment of production ready systems and infrastructure
- Monitoring of running processes to ensure proper functioning of software
- Identifying and providing solutions for common needs across stakeholders
- Working with end users and incorporating feedback into the product
- Work with Product Management and Architecture Team
- Reach out and demo the products to Customers and help them use our products efficiently
- Commitment to deliver the product on-time without compromising on quality
- Fully accountable and reachable with client centric approach to resolving issues
- Mentor junior engineers
Qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
- Strong coding skills in Java with recent extensive experience, 8+ years
- Full-stack development with strong skills in Scala, Java, PL-SQL, Spring boot, Micro Service, Scala
- Experience building REST web service clients and servers.
- Experience of persistence with relational and NoSQL data stores
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment; Git, Jenkins, GoCD
- Exposure to cloud computing as AWS
- Expertise in object-oriented design
- Experience in large scale data processing
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience with logging, monitoring, and reporting systems
- Experience with DevOps and tools
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent team player with the ability to work within a collaborative environment
